Every buckle and keeper is discreetly lined with rubber detailing so you don’t have to worry about the straps rubbing or coming loose. A thoughtfully engineered snap-button system allows the browband to be changed effortlessly in seconds—even while the bridle remains on the horse.
The Montar bridles are crafted from organically tanned leather, treated exclusively with plant-based enzymes and completely free from chrome or other harsh chemicals. The tanning process uses natural oils and plant extracts from bark, branches, roots, and seeds, which contain tannic acid. This acts as a natural moisturizer, penetrating deeply into the leather.
Up to 80% of the tannic acid is absorbed into the leather, while the remaining material is fully biodegradable. The result is a durable, supple, and breathable leather that retains its shape over time and is especially gentle on the horse’s skin, with minimal risk of irritation or allergic reactions.
