Description

Wool Flocked or Felt (French) Panels

The Ithaka is available with a choice of traditional wool-flocked panels or Kentaur’s Felt (French) panels, allowing the panel construction to be selected according to the individual horse.

The wool-flocked option provides excellent scope for adjustment by a qualified saddle fitter, allowing the flocking to be altered and refined as required.

Kentaur’s Felt (French) panel has a core of synthetic wool wrapped in felt material and finally covered in leather. This construction is designed to retain its height and thickness particularly well while remaining comfortable against the horse’s back.

With no defined outer edge, the Felt panel can also be individually shaped, creating a smooth and adaptable contact surface.

Deep Seat & Adjustable Rider Support

A deep seat provides security and stability through the rider’s position, while Velcro-mounted knee blocks allow the position of the leg support to be adjusted according to individual preference.

This gives the rider greater freedom to personalise the support provided by the saddle rather than being restricted by permanently fixed blocks.

Choice of Saddle Tree

The Ithaka can be built on a choice of WEBFLEX, GRP or Carbon saddle tree, providing different characteristics depending on the requirements of horse and rider.

An adjustable gullet further increases the saddle’s adaptability across different conformations.

Premium Leather Options

Available in standard leather or premium double calf leather, the Ithaka can provide an exceptionally soft and refined feel beneath the rider’s leg.

The double calf option enhances the connection between horse and rider while giving the saddle a sophisticated finish suited to the dressage arena.
